Candice Nielson

I graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice from Utah Valley State College. After graduating I gained experience in the Criminal Justice field as I was hired on with the Utah Department of Corrections. Due to an unfortunate Snow Boarding accident, and injuries pertaining to it, I was no longer able to work as a correctional officer. However I am a firm believer that "Everything Happens for a Reason" because I have since enjoyed working with Adult Probation and Parole, working as a Paralegal with a local law firm, being the Assistant Director of Ultimate Dance Etc. and now working at Rockwell Charter High School.

I am currently the Community Resource Liaison and Drill Team Advisor here at Rockwell. I must say that one of the most rewarding parts of my job is teaching the Rockettes. I have loved seeing them do so well this year at dance competitions and find it amazing that they are already winning Overall High Point Trophies for the school. I also have really enjoyed working in the front office because it gives me more of a chance to learn more about all the amazing students, staff and families we have at Rockwell.

In what spare time I do have I enjoy spending time with my soon to be husband Zach, teaching dance, camping, fishing, snowboarding, traveling, shopping and just simply relaxing.
