Kevin Nettleton

Kevin spent his early years in beautiful Helena, Montana, and then moved to Idaho at the age of nineteen. He spent two years serving a mission in Arcadia, California, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and then lived in St. George, Utah. Kevin endured about two weeks of southern Utah Dixie heat, and decided he had to have cooler weather, so he headed north.

With little but determination to see him through, he entered Utah State University and graduated with two Bachelor of Science degrees: one in Geography and Earth Resources, and the other in Secondary Education with a minor in History. Mr. Nettleton's work experience included working as a District Manager for two-and-a-half years at RPM, where he enjoyed great monetary success as a U.S. Fence Sales Representative for the northwestern area. Along his educational path, Kevin also attended the University of Montana for one year in Business and Accounting, and spent three years studying Fish and Wildlife Management. Ultimately, he plans to attain a Master of Education degree in Administration.

In 1998, Kevin met Jennifer while they were both attending Utah State University; the two married and are the proud parents of Amanda, a precocious five year-old daughter that they both adore. He and his family enjoy historical reenactments together--he has an amazing collection of authentic replica guns and clothing--and family hunting and fishing trips. Although he and his family live in Payson, Mr. Nettleton is happy to drive the distance to RCHS as he begins the 2009-2010 school year, his second year teaching Utah and U.S. history to 7th and 8th graders.
