Sabrina Glade
Chemistry/Jewelry
Ms. Glade graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a minor in chemistry. She went on to gain working experience in physics by building gamma-ray telescopes in Arizona with a project called VERITAS. While at University of Utah, Sabrina also studied art for two years, and continues to paint, make jewelry, and draw in her free time, "Which is," she says, "not nearly as often as I'd like!"
During her first year at Rockwell Charter High School, Sabrina taught chemistry and jewelry classes (which male students even enjoyed). Ms. Glade also loves to snowboard whenever she has the time and some spare money; she was consequently the founding memberóand Advisoróof the Rockwell Snowboard Club.
Other favorite pastimes and hobbies include hanging out with her nephew, photography, target shooting, traveling, fashion, playing Homerun Derby, card and board games. Sabrina also enjoys playing the piano and is currently attempting to learn the guitar. "Secretly," she admits, "I think I should be a racecar driver." In case anybody wonders, Ms. Glade states that she is very competitive, and especially loves to take on any student for any challenge; she has issued a standing invitation to anyone who stops by her room to try and beat her at "Jenga."
