Jenny Foss will find out what paperwork we have to complete in order to obtain our 2nd year implementation grant. We can start drawing from our implementation grant beginning in January. Angie will email Jenny the requisition forms for the implementation grant.
Jenny Foss will also call Gary Belliston to ask further questions regarding a line of credit. She will ask if we can hold our money in a money market account while we are waiting to use it and if we can request $400,000 and furthermore, do we have to fill out another application if we are denied $400,000.
Enrollment update: Currently we have 37 9th graders enrolled, 58 10th graders, 37 11th graders, and 11 12th graders. Enrollment committee will plan on having a party for the middle school ages around the end of January. Jen Maroney asked for additional help from the board regarding enrollment responsibilities. She will email various members of the board with what they can help with.
All Board members should plan on attending a big open house on January 16th.
Julie volunteered to send out all founding family member an update on school progress every Monday.
Building Update: Bobby Colson reported that Hogan and Associates has dropped their price by 5-6%. The bond company, who has been retained by the financiers didn’t like some of the wording in the contract and sent it back to Hogan to be revised. Bobby assures us that dirt will move by next week. He assured the board that although we haven’t seen dirt move, they are ahead of schedule because of all of the architectural, structural and engineered plans that are done. Hogan still plans on the building opening on time.
