Redge Hudson called the meeting to order and opened the session:
Motion was made to adopt the following agenda for the meeting:
- Overview of mission and vision of school.
- Governance- vote on Board of Trustees
- Building, Land and Financing
- Committees
- Public Comment
- Adjournment
Motion:
Motion made to elect:
Redge Hudson as President
Suzanne Burdick as Vice President
Julie McNair as Secretary
Jennie Foss as Treasurer
Kristie Buxton as Board Member
Karen DeWeese as Board Member
Stephanie Colson as Board member
All titled positions were unopposed and unanimously sustained.
Board members were elected using secret ballot
Discussion held during open session:
Discussed where school could be located
Discussed need to obtain several written propositions for builders/financiers ASAP
Discussed idea of housing 7/8th graders at Rockwell
All families encouraged to sign up for committee’s
